June Hafer

June H. Hafer, 88, formerly of Reading, passed away February 25, 2016 in the Reading Hospital.
She was preceded in death by both of her husbands' Mervin Schlenkler and George A. Hafer.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Helen M. (Price) Ziegler.
June was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School and was employed at the former Polymer Group as a secretary, retiring in 1989.
Survivors include brother George H. Ziegler, husband of Catherine, Wernersville and niece Debra J. Ziegler, Los Angeles, CA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in June's memory to Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.
Services will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 1:00pm, Rev. Paul L. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends 12:30-1:00pm.
