Julia Plotkin

Julia A. (Moscirella) Plotkin, 83, Flying Hills, entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2010, in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she was a patient since October 1.

Born May 22, 1927, in Reading, Julie was the daughter of the late Emidio and Madeleine (Marella) Moscirella. She was a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1945.

She was employed in the fashion industry for many years, most recently at Bloomingdale's, King of Prussia, from which she retired in 2009 after 10 years of service. Beloved by her customers and friends for her warmth, kindness and sense of humor, Julie will be missed by all who knew her.

Julie was a life-long member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She was a devoted and loving mother to her three children, Robert A.Plotkin, husband of Adrienne, Verona, NJ; Madelyn S. Fudeman, with whom she resided, Flying Hills; and Shelley A. Stone, Flying Hills. She is survived by her sister, Virginia M. Sacco, Flying Hills, and her sister-in-law, Bertha Moscirella, Wernersville. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Olivia and Matthew. Julie will be sadly missed by her beloved grand-dogs, Spencer and Trooper.

She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters: Albert Moscirella, John Moscirella, Clara Ludwig, Eleanor Freeman and Amelia DaDamio.
