Judith Ann Kopil (Palmer), 59, of Flying Hills, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Born in Trenton New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Palmer, and Judith (Foden). Judith was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Arts degree from Alvernia University.
Judith served as a Special Education Teacher for The Reading School District for 12 years. Judith often devoted much of her free time to volunteer for groups to help with Autism awareness and research, she would often participate in walks for soldier suicide prevention as well as supported the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Judith will always be remembered as not just a fan, but a Pittsburgh Steelers phanatic.
In addition to her mother, Judith is survived by her children, Michael Thomas Kopil, husband of Angela, of Coatesville, PA, Alexander Joseph Kopil, husband of Michelle, of Germany, and Amanda Elizabeth Reitbauer, wife of Douglas, of Reading PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Myles, Grant, Dawson, and Jordan, she is also survived by her siblings, Sharon Palmer, Joyce Brauer, Thomas Palmer, and Patricia Moore.
Funeral services for Judith will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judith’s honor to The Autism Society of Berks County, P.O.
