Joyce Cawalla

Joyce M. Cawalla, 89, of Reading, passed away June 22, 2011 at Mifflin Center where she was a guest since June 5, 2011.

Mrs. Cawalla was a 1940 graduate of St. Peter's High School and attended McCann School of Business. She was employed in food service and retail in the early 1940's and later worked for William Hartman Accounting Agency and various offices. She was a member of St. Margaret's RCC.

Survivors include a son: Richard S. Cawalla, husband of Betty D. Cawalla of Shillington and a daughter Linda J. (Cawalla) Lehn of Deerfield Beach, FL, a grandson Erich Cawalla, granddaughter Julie Ybera, great-granddaughter Jasmine and sister-in-law Josephine Emerich of Reading. She was predeceased by a brother Edward Emerich and 2 sisters Maryann and Elizabeth Hoyman.
