Joy Kramlich

Margaret Joy (Beard) Kramlich, 72, of Reading passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in Berks Heim.  Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Wentzel) Beard.  Joy was the loving wife of Daniel E. Kramlich, Sr.  Married on July 13, 1968, the couple shared 54 ½ years together.  Joy worked as a Nurse for the Mifflin Center then retired as a Private Nurse.  She liked being outside, planting flowers, and going to the beach.  Joy and Daniel enjoyed going to the casinos together, especially Delaware Park Casino.  She loved animals, hosting parties, and cherished every moment she spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, Daniel, Joy is survived by her children, Daniel E. Kramlich, Jr., of Virginville and Kathleen D. Kramlich, of Lehighton.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Amanda and Daniel E. Kramlich III, her great grandson, Daniel E. Kramlich IV, her sister, Joan Dreher, and many nieces and nephews.  Joy is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Beard.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11:00 am in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.  Celebrant Amy Landis to officiate.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 11th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Bean Funeral Homes, Sinking Spring.  Interment will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery.  Bean Funeral Homes, Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
