Josephine Yiengst

Josephine Yiengst, 81, formerly of Reading, passed away July 13, 2010 at 8:35 am in Elmcroft of Reading, Exeter Township. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Placido and Vincenza (Mammana) Franco. She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1947 and Reading-Muhlenberg Vo-Tech School in 1970 with a degree as an Licensed Practical Nurse. She was an LPN for St. Joseph Medical Center for 35 years, retiring in May of 2004 and then was an independent home health care provider until 2009. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Reading. She is survived by her son Mark A. husband of Terri A. Yiengst of Exeter Township and her daughter Kristen C. Yiengst of Montclair, NJ along with 2 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Nicoline Bolognese of Wyomissing and was preceded in death by her sister Frances DeLuma and brother Frank Franco.
