Joseph Rowe

Joseph H. Rowe, 83, of Reading, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Middletown Nursing Home. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph W. Rowe and Florence S. (Heck) Rowe. He was the beloved husband of Gloria L. Yoder who passed away on July 4, 1999. During his life he was employed as a steel worker for CarTech Corp. for 36 years retiring in 1995. Joe served proudly in the United States Navy aboard the destroyer USS Cotton during the Korean War. He is survived by his niece Patricia L. Reeser, wife of Gregory P. Reeser , Middletown, PA; step-daughter, April G. Altevers , Tucson, AZ; sister, Mary Zimmerman, Katy, TX; 1 grandchild; 6 nieces and 6 nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his siblings Margaret Fisher, Lynwood Rowe , Jane Gruber, John Rowe, Grace Kreisher, and nephew Richard L. Rowe.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10:30am, in Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, PA, 19608.
