Joseph G. Palm, Jr.

Joseph G. Palm, Jr. 76, formerly of Mohnton, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2023 at 3:30 am at ChristianaCare Union Hospital, Elkton, Maryland.  Born in Reading, Mr. Palm was the son of the late Joseph G. Palm, Sr. and June (Lesher) Palm.  He was a 1965 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and was a member of Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, Rising Sun, MD.  Mr. Palm was employed by Bethlehem Steel in Pottstown for 11 years as a welder and retired from Hoffman Industries in the same capacity.    He was member of NRA; enjoyed fishing in Canada; was an avid hunter and skeet shooter.  Mr. Palm is survived by his children Joseph G. Palm, III of Exeter Township; Gina M. Palm of Exeter Township; Stacy L. Carey of Elkton, MD; Amy C. Colon of Exeter Township and was preceded in death by his daughter Kim A. O’Reilly.  He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters and his sister Joette D. Bisbano, wife of Carmelo J. Bisbano of Exeter Township.  Mr. Palm was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Trisha A. Barrett.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:00 am.  Amy S. Landis, Celebrant will officiate.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
