Joseph Maenza

Joseph Maenza, 95, of Myerstown, formerly of Reading, passed away Monday June 14, 2021 at 8:10 am in Reading Hospital.  He was the husband of Jean M. (Terrey) Maenza.  Born in Reading, Mr. Maenza was the son of the late Erasmo and Maria (Spica) Maenza.  He served in the United States Army and was employed by Dana Corporation in Reading as a machine operator for 36 years until his retirement.  In addition to his wife, Mr. Maenza is survived by his children Christina M. Zezenski, wife of Michael Zezenski of Wernersville; Terry M. Maenza, husband of Nadine Maenza of Spring City; his grandchildren Andrew, Anthony and Julia Maenza, his step grandchildren Lauren Zezenski and Amy Rieger and a step great-grandson Brayden Weber.  He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Angela Maenza and his siblings Frank, Edward and Mary Maenza and Minnie Pieja.

Funeral Service will be in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring at the convenience of the family.  Interment will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Stone Ridge at Poplar Run, 440 East Lincoln Ave. Myerstown, PA 17067 in memory of Mr. Joseph Maenza.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
