Joseph Defeo

Joseph M. DeFeo, 86, of West Lawn, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 7:15 pm in the home of his daughter Terrilynn Kline of Spring Township. He was the husband of the late Gilda E. "Jill" (Paino) DeFeo who passed away May 5, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. DeFeo was the son of the late Joseph and Lena (Marinelli) DeFeo. He was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church and was a graduate of Wharton School of Business. Mr. DeFeo was an accountant for several firms in Philadelphia and the Reading area for many years until his retirement. He loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed reading and vacationing at Sea Isle City with his wife. Mr. DeFeo is survived by his son Joseph M. DeFeo, Jr., husband of Antonia DeFeo of Columbia, Maryland and his daughter Terrilynn Kline, wife of Kevin Kline of Spring Township and his grandchildren Jason Cape, husband of Carly(Ritter) Cape of Warminster; Christopher DeFeo of Baltimore, Maryland and Abbey DeFeo of Gaithersburg, Maryland and his great grandson Braylen Cape of Warminster. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara McCarron.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 9:30 am. Mr. John F. Meeks will officiate. Entombment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Thursday 8:00-9:30 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mr. Joseph M. DeFeo.
