John A. "Jack" O'Brien Jr., 78, Exeter Township, died April 25, 2011, in Berkshire Center.
He was the husband of K. Virginia (Tarves) O'Brien.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John A. and Emma (Neiman) O'Brien.
He attended Archmere Academy in Delaware and graduated from McCann School of Business.
He was self-employed and operated O'Brien's Moving and Storage in Reading.
He was a member of St. Catharine of Siena RCC, Exeter Twp., where he served as a sacristan for five years. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and was a Eucharistic Minister at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center for 10 years.
Also surviving are sons, Raphael B., husband of Deborah (Hutchinson) O'Brien of West Reading, and John A. O'Brien III of Reading; daughters: Colleen K. (O'Brien), wife of Angelo A. Porcaro, Pennside, Veronica M. (O'Brien), wife of David G. Giles, Birdsboro, and Mary F. (O'Brien), wife of Jeffrey W. Grachus, Sun City, AZ; grandchildren: Tina, Harry, Pamela, Stephanie, Rebecca, Michael, Johnny IV, Carina, Shawn, Abigail, Hope, and Bethany; and great-granddaughter, Natalie.
