John Kostick

John J. Kostick, 85, of Reading, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010 at home.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Michael Kostick and Rose (Subliscak) Kostick.

He was the husband of Bertha M. (Swidersky) Kostick. The couple shared 59 wonderful years of marriage.

He was a veteran with the United States Navy, serving as a machinist on the U.S.S. Jenkins. He worked as a machinist for many years for Rockwell Intl, formerly Arrow Intl, retiring in the 90's.

He is survived by his son: John J. Kostick Jr., husband of Beverly Ann of Whitehall.

There are also two grandchildren: Joshua Michael and Jessica Lynn.

He is also survived by sisters: Anna (Kostick) Skillman, Helen (Kostick) Poper, Mary (Kostick) Sablowski, and Florence (Kostick) Hegedus; and brothers: George, David, and Michael, all of Reading.

In addition to his parents, he was pre deceased by a brother: Daniel, in 1991.
