John Ii

John Edward Halloran, II of Exeter Township, passed away June 4, 2009 at 10:50 pm in Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 27, 1930 in Lock Haven, PA he was the son of the late Hazel(Henry) and Augustine John Halloran of Williamsport, PA. He was a graduate of the former St. Joseph High School in Williamsport and St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY and the Army ROTC program. He retired from active Army Reserve as a Colonel. He worked as an insurance salesman and office manager for most of his adult life. He was a graduate of the Certified Life Underwriters program and founded his own agency, The Halloran Insurance Agency in the 1980's . He maintained that business until recently. John enjoyed playing golf and he was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He is survived by his brother Michael Halloran and family of Grafton, WI and was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Mayer. He is survived by his children Eric J. husband of Carolyn Halloran of Shelburne Falls, MA, Christopher J. husband of Mary Ann Halloran of Oxford, NJ, Erin J. wife of Dave Reinert of Stowe, Carol A. Halloran of Los Angeles, CA and Andrea J. Halloran wife of Paul Cummings of Los Angeles, CA along with 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
