John Graybill

John Z. "Jack" Graybill, 77, of Leesport, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11:45 a.m. at home.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John U. Graybill and Mary Alice "Maude" (Zuber) Graybill.

He was the husband of Louise T. (Suklje) Graybill. The couple shared 55 wonderful years of marriage.

He was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School, and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the United States Air Force.

He worked as a Supervisor at Car Tech for more than 30 years, retiring in 1992.

He was a life member of the VFW Post 1963 in Sea Isle City, NJ, and enjoyed riding bicycle at the Jersey Shore and around Leesport.

His passion was helping his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Casey J. Graybill, companion of Kathleen L. Klusewitz of West Lawn; and daughters: Kim G. (Graybill), wife of Michael D. Mathias of Wyomissing, and Beth A. Graybill, companion of James P. Didyoung of West Lawn.

There are also two grandchildren: Margaux and Connor.

He is also survived by his sister: Elaine H. (Graybill) Wiegner of Wyomissing.

In addition to his parents, he is pre deceased by a sister: Jean E. (Graybill) Henne.

The family requests no flowers be sent, and instead Memorial Contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 4 Park Plaza, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
