John Anthony Ferreri

John Anthony Ferreri, 93, of Exeter Township, passed away Monday June 26, 2023 at 11:35 pm at Berkshire Commons.  He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Louise “Betty” (Loeper) Ferreri who passed away November 11, 2021.  Born in Reading, Mr. Ferreri was the son of the late Anthony and Agnes (Dorilla) Ferreri.  He received an associate degree in mechanical engineering from Berks Polytech and was a draftsman at Carpenter Technology for over 30 years.  Mr. Ferreri served in the United States Navy on the USS Missouri during the Korean War.  He was a member of Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.  Mr. Ferreri is survived by his daughters Lynda F. Lesko wife of Alexander J. Lesko of Mohnton and Julianne L. Ferreri companion of Edward Smith of West Lawn and his grandsons Joseph and Andrew Lesko.  He is also survived by his sister Connie Redman of California and was preceded in death by Thomas, Michael, Elizabeth. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Chapel 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10:00 am.  Reverend Brian M. Miller, Celebrant.  Entombment with Military Honors rendered by American Legion Post 217 Topton will follow at the Chapel of Saint George at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Chapel Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:45 am.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mr. John Anthony Ferreri.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
