John L. Davison

John L. Davison, 84, of Reading, formerly of Tamaqua, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in the Reading Hospital. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Dorothy M. (Brode) and Frank P. Davison. He graduated from Tamaqua High School in 1958, continued his education at Stevens Institute of Technology and Temple University where he received his master’s degree. John was a Masonry Instructor and later became the Vice Principal at Schuylkill Technology Center in Marlin, PA. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Masonic Lodge. John enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, shooting pool and darts.

 John is survived by his sons, John Davison, Jr., husband of Satoko of Orwigsburg, and Michael Davison, husband of Beth of Sinking Spring, his 3 grandchildren, and his brother, Francis “Pat” Davison.
