Jody "Joe" Knight

Jody “Joe” Knight, 73, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Rachel (Deitz) Rotharmel. Joe was a graduate of Halifax High School class of 1965. He later went on to receive his Associates Degree from HACC. Joe served proudly in the United States Army. During his life, he was employed as a truck driver, for Cott Beverage, retiring in 2003.

Joe enjoyed wood working, fishing, playing cards and bird feeding. Above all, Joe’s  pride and joy was his beloved grandchildren, family and his friends.

He is survived by his sons, Tyler Knight, of Wyomissing; Jonathan Knight, of Bernville; grandchildren, Caleb and Alexis ; and sister Susan Sharp, of Halifax, PA.

Memorial service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00pm. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Online condolences may be made to www.beanfuneralhomes.com
