Joanne Reilly

Joanne M. Reilly, 80, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 3:43pm in her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony L. Reilly Jr. who passed away on August 14, 2007. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Amos W. Schmehl and Florence J. (Scott) Schmehl. During her life she was employed as a Network Supervisor for Bell Atlantic in PA for 32 years, retiring in 1988. Joanne is survived by her two step-sons, Anthony J. Reilly, husband of Sung Ok, of Sinking Spring; Robert Reilly, husband of Lori, of Shillington; grandchildren, Ian Reilly, Erin Reilly and Matthew Reilly. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend Nancy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Reading, 19604, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00am. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Wednesday from 9:00am-10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893 Memphis, TN 38101-9950, in memory of Joanne M. Reilly.
