Joanne Blew

Joanne L. Blew, 70, of Oley, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 10:00 pm in her home. She was the wife of the late Leon E. Blew who passed away April 24, 2014. Born in Reading, Mrs. Blew was the daughter of Lillian (Fisher) Nangle and the late Joseph A. Nangle. She was a member of Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township and was employed in sales at Boscov's East and was co-owner of 4 Seasons Sporting Goods in Oley. Mrs. Blew is survived by her son Gregory L. Blew, husband of Anita S. (Spayd) Blew of Sinking Spring and her daughter Tammy L. (Blew) Hughes, wife of John K. Hughes, II of Lower Alsace Township and her grandchildren Ashley Hughes; Michael Hughes; Kristen Hughes; Justin Blew and Ryan Blew.
Funeral Procession will depart Bean Funeral Home 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township at 10:30 am. Reverend Monsignor Edward R. Domin, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Saturday, 7:45 am to 9:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 3893 Adler Place Suite 170 Bethlehem, PA 18017 in memory of Mrs. Joanne L. Blew.
