Joan Foster

Joan L. Foster, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2:36 am at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.  She was the wife of the late Harry T. Foster, Jr. who passed away March 23, 2002.  Born in Cressona, Schuylkill County, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late George H. and Helen M. (Teichman) Wenrich.  She was employed by Bon-Ton in Reading in the credit office until her retirement.  She is survived by a large extended family.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Reverend Phyllis Wolkenhauer will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. Peace Cemetery, Branch Township, Schuylkill County.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Humane Society of Berks County 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604 in memory of Mrs. Joan L.
