Joan Catalano, 75, of Sadsbury Township, Chester County, passed away February 12, 2010 at 4:08 pm in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Benjamin L. Catalano to whom she was married for 54 years. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene(Sutik)Holdried. Joan's whole life was dedicated to her three children, six grandchildren and the newest addition, her very first great grandchild. What joy they gave her , and what wonderful memories she has left them with. They always came first in her life, she could never do enough for them. Family was her life and how proud they are, to call her wife, mom and grandma. She also loved flowers, yellow roses being her favorite, and working in her garden. She enjoyed music all her life, and found peace by the ocean, and watching beautiful sunsets. She will be missed so much, but will always remain in the hearts of those who loved her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Patricia wife of Rick Mandarano of Norristown, her sons, Michael, husband of Bethann Catalano of Honey Brook, and John Catalano, residing with Carol Seidel of Exeter Township. She is also survived by her grandchildren, S.J. Taylor, residing with Stephanie Farnum of Coatesville, Matthew Taylor of Boca Raton, Florida, Christopher Taylor of Norristown, John R., Anthony and Alexa Catalano all of Bushkill and her great grandchild, Madison Sophia Taylor.
