Jeannette G. Weidenhammer, 85, of West Lawn, passed away on June 27, 2015 at her residence.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Klinger) Greenwood.
Jeannette was employed as a secretary at Reading Trust Bank for 20 years, and later at Penn Optical until her retirement in 1995.
She was predeceased by her husband: Robert M. Ditlow.; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include her sister: Louise Johnston of Rochester, NY and Niece: Sandra Shultz of Ocala, FL; Friends and caregivers: Darlene F. Koehn of Sinking Spring and Allison J. Reber of Wyomissing; loving feline companion: Nikki.
A graveside service will be held at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, PO Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.
