Jeanne Turner

Jeanne H. Turner, 83, of Reading, passed away on February 10, 2019 at Berks Heim.

She was the wife of the late Robert T. Turner.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Blanche M. (DeLong) Ramer.

Jeanne was employed for many years as a cashier at Thriftway Grocery Store. She was a member of St. John Baptist de LaSalle, R.C. Church of Shillington and a lifetime member of Kenhorst Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 4 siblings.

Survivors include her children: Scott T. Turner, husband of Virginia of Shillington, Rebecca A. Turner of Mt. Penn, Amy S. Sottosanti, wife of Sebastian of Exeter Twp., and Timothy M. Turner, husband of Sabrina of Reading. Also surviving are grandchildren: Tyler Turner, Trevor Johns, Alexander Turner, Ashley Turner, Samantha Turner, Robert Turner and Jeanna Sottosanti ; great-grandchildren: Emma and Sarah.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. John Baptist de LaSalle R.C. Church, 42 Kerrick Rd., Shillington, on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 6-8:00PM and Friday from 8-9:15AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Gethsemane Cemetery.
