Jean Kantner

Jean P. Kantner, 85, of Alsace Twp., passed away on December 1, 2016 at Manor Care Laureldale.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Amanda Shartle.
Jean was employed as a Drycleaner for Talbott Knitting Mills. She was later employed at Leader Nursing Home, working in dietary.
She was predeceased by her husband: Elmer C. Kantner and grandson: Matthew A. Ross.
She is survived by her Children: Valarie M. Ross, wife of Ronald A. of Reading and Jeffrey L. Kantner, husband of Colleen of Alsace Twp. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Ronald A. Ross, Jr., Lindsey E. Kantner, Zachary C. Kantner, Andrew J. Ross, and Eric M. Kantner.
Funeral Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, N.16th and Rockland Sts., Hampden Heights, on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 1:00PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 12-1:00PM. The interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
