Jean F. Gans, 87, of Reading, passed away July 20, 2011at 11:45 AM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the wife of Clayton A. Gans, Jr. Born in Reading on June 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. B. Wray and the late Alice C. (Copp) Wray.
Jean was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School. She was employed as the Kindergarten Coordinator of St. LukeA�a�a��s Lutheran Church for 23 years. Jean was a member and former Sunday School Superintendant of St. LukeA�a�a��s Lutheran Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Allen D. Gans of Reading. Jean was predeceased by a son Edward A. Gans on December 13, 2005, two sisters Virginia (Wray) Schmehl and Miriam (Wray) Shull and a brother Charles Wray.
