Jason Morgan

Jason M. Morgan, 47, of Birdsboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading and raised in Oley, Jason was the loving son of Nancy Morgan (Reafler). Jason was a graduate of Oley Valley High School, attended the Art School in Philadelphia, and later went on to become a Finish Carpenter for over 10 years for BH Design + Build in Mohnton, PA.

Jason was a stubborn man with a soft heart. He loved his son above all else, but also actively loved his friends and family. He was always eager to share his time and talents with those he loved. He most enjoyed weekends at "the Land"/ "the Brook" where all the best parts of friendship, comradery, and general mayhem were guaranteed. He loved playing golf, especially with his life long friend, Craig. He was a fan of sports, in particular, discussing the Mets with his Uncle John, winning at fantasy football, and playing poker. Jason was always ready to discuss movies and music with anyone who had an opinion, even though he usually thought you were wrong. Jason's charismatic spirit, open heart, and unwavering sense of humor made him an easy person to love.

In addition to his mother, Nancy, Jason is survived by his son Liam, his brother, James Morgan, of Harding, New Jersey, his favorite cousin, Samantha Macleary of Ohio. He is also survived by his loving companion, Melinda Johnston, as well as his many friends he considered brothers and sisters, his nephews Jude and Henry, his sister-in-law Mia, and so many others he considered his family.

A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA 19608, on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Jason’s family will receive friends and relatives in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM A time of sharing and remembrance of Jason’s Life will follow at 5:00 PM.
