Janet West

Janet M. West, 83, formerly of West Lawn, passed away on December 16, 2017 at The Reading Hospital.
Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Raymond W. and Dorothy A. (Becker) Neidig.
Janet was an avid volunteer for the VFW in New Castle, DE, the Court House in Wilmington DE, and the Library in West Lawn. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved her family greatly. She will be remembered for enjoying gardening, cooking, and collecting recipes.
She was predeceased by her husband: Norman R. West, sister: Marilyn Fegley, and brother: Donald Neidig.
Survivors include her children: Karen S. Sikorski, wife of Patrick J. of Sinking Spring; Kathy L. Parent, wife of William R. of Hamburg, and Eric K. Lang, husband of Christen K. of Newark, DL. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister: Debra J. Neidig, and a sister-in-law: Delores Neidig.
Service will be at the convenience of the family.
