Janet Clouser

Janet L. Clouser, 91, of Lincoln Park, passed away on Monday, January 12th at 12:45 a.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late John Jones and Alma (Fisher) Jones, and widow of the late William H. Clouser Sr., who passed away on January 9, 1997.

She was a 1934 graduate of Reading High School, and attended the Helen Moore Hoffman Secretarial School for Girls.

She was a member of St. Andrew's U.C.C. in Reading, and was very involved in Church projects.

She was also a former member of the Reading Women's Club, and was a member of the Young Republicans Club, the Reading Public Museum, and the Berks County Investment Club.

She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.

Survivors include a son: William H. "Bill" Clouser, husband of Susan Clouser of Jeffersonville; daughters: Sandra L. (Clouser), wife of Byron McCormick of Reading, and Marcia J. (Clouser), wife of Dennis Hoffa of Skippack, PA.

There are also four grandchildren: Maribeth, Amy, Davis, and Matthew, and three great grandchildren: Jason, Alexandra, and Zachary.
