Jane Remp

Jane E. Remp, 88, of Mohnton, passed away June 15, 2016 in The Reading Hospital; for the last year she was a guest at Berks Heim.
She was the wife of Carl W. Remp.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Susan (Meashy) Matz.
Mrs. Remp was employed at Alcon as a lead technician retiring in 1990. She was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church of Pennwyn; Gouglersville Fire Company and Brecknock Township Ladies Auxiliary where she was the former secretary.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Barbara Demanski, Shillington; Judy Plotzker, Sinking Spring; Diane Kohl, Sinking Spring; Karlotta Werner, Jacksonwald; Deborah Spadafora, Sinking Spring; Dina Handwerk, Louisville, KY; Dennis Remp, Shillington; Barry Remp, Sinking Spring; Jeffrey Remp, Frackville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and her sister Shirley Beadencup, Ephrata.
Contributions may be made in Mrs. Remp's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation 237 Court Street, Reading, PA 19601 and/or Berks Heim County Home: 1011 Berks Road, Leesport, PA 19533.
Services will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 129 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, Monday, June 20, 2016 at 7:00pm, Rev. Larry Reinert to officiate. Burial will be private in Mohnsville Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 5:00-7:00pm.
