James Tomaszewski

James H. "Wilbur" Tomaszewski, 67, of Exeter Township, passed away on November 3, 2017 at his residence.
He was the husband of Linda K. (Bair) Tomaszewski, whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage with.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Henry S. and Mary A. (Dudek) Tomaszewski.
James was employed as a water plant operator for the city of Reading for many years.
Wilbur was beloved by all who knew him; he was a kind heart and gentle soul. You could always count on him to be smiling and to have a joke ready to make you laugh. Wilbur enjoyed hot coffee in the morning, scenic drives, listening to oldies, playing scrabble and playing pool, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his sister Alice M. Tomaszewski.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Valerie L. Lang wife of Scot A. of Douglassville, grandchildren: Ethan A. Lang and Avery E. Lang, sister-in-law: Bonnie Wojciechowski, nephew: David Wojciechowski and his best friend and dog, Angus.
Funeral services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Reading, Exeter Township, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9-11:00am.
