James F. Pierce, 83, of Reading, passed away April 25, 2010 at 8:50 am in his residence of natural causes. He was the husband of Angela(Bolognese) Pierce. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Johanna A. (Conway) Pierce. He was employed by Genco in Lebanon for 13 years as a receiving foreman, retiring in 1986. Mr. Pierce served during WWII in the United States Navy and was a member of St. Margaret's RCC. He was also a member of VFW Gregg Post 378 in Reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, James P. husband of Debra A. Pierce of Wernersville and his daughter, Donna M. wife of David Jerome of North Augusta, SC along with his grandchidlren, Betsy A. Lawson, Michael J. Jerome, Amy M. Jerome, Kelly N. Pierce and Colleen B. Pierce as well as 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother John J. Pierce of Reading and was preceded in death by his siblings, Catherine Dietrich, Margaret E. George, Ann Benevento, Mary Riegel and Robert Pierce.
