James C Pawlik, 53, of Spring Township passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 in his residence. Born in Reading, he was the beloved son of Warren J. Pawlik and the late Virginia A. (Kerber) Pawlik. James was a Reading High School graduate class of 1982 and Berks vo-tech class of 1988. During his life, he was a handy man, carpenter, and forklift operator for several companies working last in 2016. In addition to his father he is survived by his daughter, Dayna A. Balla, wife of Justin Balla, of Sinking Spring; granddaughter, Berkleigh; brothers, Steven Pawlik, husband of Jane; David Pawlik, husband of Beth; sisters, April Gornik; Melody Heckman, wife of Steve; birth mother, Doris Gornik; and several nieces and nephews. James was a loving father and grand dude. James loved the Oakland raiders and in his honor feel free to represent his team on the day of service.
Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00am-11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
