James Lawrence

James E. Lawrence, 81, formerly of Ocala, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in ProMedica Skilled Nursing of Sinking Spring.  Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Laura (Miller) and Charles R. Lawrence.  Jim was the husband of Marie (Van Ree) Lawrence, together they shared 53 years of marriage until her passing in 2018.  He was an Operator at the Sewer Treatment Facility before his retirement in 2005.  Jim enjoyed horse and dog racing, fishing, traveling, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Jim is survived by his son, James R. Lawrence, husband of Sandra of Sinking Spring.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Keith Lawrence, Brittany Lawrence, and Kevin Lawrence, his great grandchildren, Brielle and Percy, his brother, William Lawrence, husband of Pauline Brutt of Gilbertsville, and nieces, Barbara Lawrence and Sheryl Lawrence, both of Bridgeport.
