James S. Heffleger

James S. “Jim” Heffleger, 87, of Blandon, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Keystone Villa, Blandon. He was the loving husband to Annamae R. (Fillman) for over 57 years of marriage before her passing on May 21, 2013. Born in Lansdale, James was the son of the late, Samuel E. Heffleger Sr. and Christiana Esther (Sterling). James was a graduate of Reading High School Class of 1953, and went on to be a Self Employed Carpenter for his own businesses, Heffleger Quality Apartments, and J & J Heffleger Custom Kitchens.

James is survived by his children, Vernon J. Heffleger, of Leesport, Kim A. Fels, wife of Arthur, of Pennsburg, and Wanda J. Kulp, wife of Randy, of Richland. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and his brother, Jerald G. Heffleger.

In addition to his wife Annamae, James is predeceased by brother, Samuel E. Heffleger Jr., and his sister, Jean Ramich.

A memorial service for James will be held at a later date. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
