James W. Garman Sr.

James W. Garman Sr., 71, of Exeter Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Marjorie O. (Ochs) Garman. Born in Fritztown, PA., he was the son of the late William H. Garman Jr. and Sarah J. Garman (Huber). James retired from AT&T Mobility in 2020. He was predeceased by two brothers, William H. Garman III and Andrew Garman. 

James is survived by his 2 sons Michael Garman husband of Kristy, of Mohnton; James Garman II, of Exeter Township; daughter, Maryann Beeman, wife of Richard, of Shillington; 4 grandchildren, Jarred, Darian, Seth and Chase. He is also survived by stepchildren, Larry Spayd Jr., Vicki Ullmann, Cindy Burke, David Spayd, Lisa Herb and 12 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and sister, Gail Scarpaci, wife of John. 

Burial services will be private at Charles Evans Cemetery. A drop in memorial service to celebrate the life of Jim Garman will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at BlackJax American Pub & Grill Restaurant  668 Benjamin Franklin Hwy, Birdsboro, PA 19508 from 5:00PM-9:00PM.
