James Dalrymple

James B. Dalrymple, 100, of Wyomissing, passed away on September 2, 2016 at Country Meadows.
Born in Kearny, NJ, he was the son of the late James and Jane (Bain) Dalrymple.
James was a 1935 graduate of West Reading High School, where he served as class President. He went on to attend Wyomissing Poly Technical Institute, and was employed at Car Tech as a technical assistant to the Hot Mill Superintendent. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Reading, where he served on council and as Sunday School Attendance Secretary. He had many loves, which included flowers, gardening, fishing, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies.
He was predeceased by his wife: Elizabeth L. (Christian) Dalrymple.
He is survived by his Sister: Jeanette Brown, Sister-in-law: Ruth E. (Christian) Blatt, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11:00AM.
