James D. Balloch, 18, of Bernville, passed away on Thursday, September 4th at 5:05 p.m. at home.
Born in Reading, he was the son of David B. Balloch of Reading and Cynthina A. (Gerth) Scornavachi of Bernville, with whom he resided.
He was in his Senior Year at Keystone Correspondence School.
He loved sports, specifically playing basketball, boxing, and batting a ball to his Zoe, his German Shepherd.
He also enjoyed handing out with his friends, and going to the movies with his dad.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters: Ashley Jarowecki of Laureldale, Caitlyn Balloch of Reading, Stepbrother: Josh Scornavachi of Reading; maternal grandparents: William P. and Fern Gerth of Reading; paternal grandmother: Dorothy A. Balloch of Reading; Nephew: Nicholas Bysher of Laureldale; four uncles, five aunts, and seven cousins.
Services from the Bean Funeral Homes, N. 16th & Rockland Sts., Reading, Monday at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Victor A. Kroninger officiating. Friends will be received Monday from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
