James Babb

James S. Babb, 84, of Exeter Township, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at 10:30 am in his home. He was the husband of Virginia R. (Homan) Babb. Born in Stony Creek Mills, Mr. Babb was the son of the late James F. and Irene L. (Shearer) Babb. He was a graduate of Mount Penn High School and Penn State University. Mr. Babb was a civil engineer employed by Bethlehem Steel for 35 years and served in the United States Army serving as a terrain analyst in the Panama Canal Zone. He enjoyed both playing and watching baseball, basketball and tennis and was a longtime member of Amity Athletic Club. In addition to his wife, Mr. Babb is survived by his children Marilyn Sue(Knoll) James of Bern Township; Julie E. Patton, companion of Michael Gamber of Bern Township and James V. Babb, husband of Bonnie L. Babb of Exeter Township along with his grandchildren Sarah L. Babb; Allison J. Babb and Jacob J. Babb.
