Jack F. Boyer

Jack F. Boyer, 92, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Complete Care Berkshire. Born in Reading, he was the son of Herbert and Ann Boyer. Jack also had a stepfather Henry Seidel. Jack worked at the CNA Insurance Company for 45 years, where he was employed as an underwriter for 40 years. He served in the United States Army, during the Korean War, where he was a combat engineer. Jack enjoyed bowling, ping pong, and always said he would rather play sports than watch somebody else.

Jack was predeceased by his two sons, Michael and Jeffrey who passed in 1969. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda S. Boyer (Rossiter), of Reading; two stepsons, Ramon R. Zeller, husband of Virgil; and Stephen R. Zeller, husband of Alison; five grandchildren, Alexandria, Derek, Robert, Abby, and Kyle; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:30am. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate.
