Ivana Pantalone

Ivana (Zuccarini) Pantalone, 85 passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Reading Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Carl Pantalone who passed away November 8, 2004. Born in Rome, Italy she was the daughter of the late Enrico and Marianna (Feretti) Zuccarini. She lived in Montorio al Vomano in Abruzzi and immigrated to the United States working first at Berkshire Knitting Mills and then Narrow Fabric until her retirement after 25 years. Mrs. Pantalone was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church for 60 years and enjoyed being a life member of the Beneficial Society at Victor Emmanuel II Ladies Auxiliary. She was an amazing cook and baker and showed her love to her many friends and family as abundantly as the portions she served them. She is survived by her son Arno Pantalone and daughter Diana (Pantalone) Wert, wife of Daryl A. Wert; her sister Rena (Zuccarini) Spaeth; her brother Ugo Zuccarini; grandchildren Jennifer, Danielle and David Wert, Alexa Pantalone and her great grandson Luka.
Funeral Procession will depart Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Monday, October 1, 2018 at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church Lakeview Drive and Cherry Street, West Reading at 10:00 am. Reverend John Hutta, Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Sunday, September 30, 2018 6:00-8:00 pm and Monday 8:30-9:15 am.
