Iva L. Weeast

Iva L. (Erwin) Weeast, 91, of Laureldale, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at her home, with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife to, Gene Weeast for 27 years of marriage before his passing on July 28, 1981. Born in Milford, NJ, Iva was the daughter of the late William Erwin and Meryl (Stevens). Iva worked as the Opening Manager at McDonald’s, in Mt. Penn for over 21 years, before her retirement in 1989.

Iva is survived by her children, David Weeast, husband of Bonnie, of Fleetwood, Cheryl Craig, of Laureldale, James Weeast, husband of Alison, of Avon Lake, OH, Mark Weeast, husband of Lisa, of Avon Lake, OH, and her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Gene, Iva is predeceased by her brother, Keith Erwin.

Funeral service for Iva will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:30 AM in Bean Funeral Home, 1605 Rockland Street, Reading. Inurnment to follow in Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and guests in Bean Funeral Home, Reading, on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM .
