Isora Ruppert

Isora A. "Betty" Ruppert, 85, of Wernersville, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:20 am in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Elwood R. Ruppert who passed away February 19, 2014. Born in Maidencreek Township, Berks County, Mrs. Ruppert was the daughter of the late Harvey and Bertha (Zettlemoyer) Buck. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church where she was involved in the Women of Atonement group. Mrs. Ruppert worked most of her life as an Administrative Assistant for several different institutions, including Traveler's Insurance Company, the Berks County Planning Commission, Wyomissing High School, and the former Rhoda, Stoudt and Bradley Law Offices. Her last job was working as a Real Estate Agent for Martens Realty Ltd. and she was a member of the Greater Reading Board of Realtors Inc. Mrs. Ruppert is survived by her daughter Debbie R. Witmoyer, wife of Gary L. Witmoyer of West Lawn and her grandchildren Caitlin A. Blaha; Gary L. Witmoyer, Jr.; Lucas T. Witmoyer; Aaron T. Witmoyer; Laurissa L. Witmoyer and Brock M. Witmoyer.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10:00 am. Reverend Julie P. Recher will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00-10:00 am.
