Isolde Sassaman

Isolde M. Sassaman, 93, formerly of Reading, passed away August 8, 2010 at 5:00 am in The Henry Health Care Center at The Topton Lutheran Home where she resided for 10 years. She was the wife of the late Robert S. Sassaman who passed away January 4, 2002. Born in Leipzig, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna(Gunther)Scholz. Mrs. Sassaman was a singer and dancer for Holiday Girls Dance Troupe in Reading for 10 years. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church on the Campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She is survived by her daughter Barbara J. Becker of Reading, her grandchildren, Debbra L. wife of Norman C. Dorward, Craig D. husband of Ann Becker, Lyle G. husband of Julia Becker, Scott R. husband of Cynthia Becker along with her great grandchildren, Jennifer L.(Dorward)wife of Jonathan Bosarge, Jaclyn(Becker)wife of Benjamin MItter, Jessica Dorward, Gregory Becker, Zachary Becker, Brandon Becker, Chelsea Becker.
