Ingelore (Philippsen) Bruno, 88, of Mohnton, passed away peacefully at the St. Francis Home, Shillington on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Vincent P. Bruno, together they shared 48 years of marriage. Inge was born in Tiegenhof, Danzig, Germany to the late Otto and Elfriede (Grubnau) Philippsen. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Reading. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Anthony O. Bruno (Catharine), Vincent J. Bruno, Richard S. Bruno (Karen), Daughter-In-Law, Melissa A. Bruno, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and in-laws. She was predeceased by her son, Robert P. Bruno, her brothers, Manfred and Volkmar Philippsen, and a grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 11:00am in St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 42 Kerrick Rd., Shillington. Reverend Edward J. Essig to celebrate. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Entombment will follow mass in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Chapel of Saint George. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Francis Home, 144 Hillside Drive, Shillington, PA 19607.
