Hugh B. Reber

Hugh B. Reber, 84, of Mohnton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Complete Care Berkshire. He was the beloved husband of Mary L. (Hellenthal) Reber. Together they shared 58 years of marriage.

Born on August 28, 1940, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Irvin F. and Mary (Parnall) Reber. He served proudly in the United States Navy. Hugh enjoyed gardening, trains and bird watching.

He is survived by his wife Mary L. Reber, of Mohnton; son, James A. Reber, significant other of Jennifer Roeder, of Cressona; son, Kenneth S. Reber, husband of Colleen M. Reber, of Cressona; daughter, Cathy A. Weaver, significant other of George Mailloux, of Mohnton; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and one on the way; and brother, Richard Reber of Texas. 

He was predeceased by his siblings Thomas Reber and Betty Lou Bensinger.
