Henry Heflich, 69, of Upper Tulpehocken Township passed away October 22, 2008 at 4:44 pm in his residence of natural causes. He was the Loving husband of Diane A. (goula) to whom he was married for 47 years. Born in Jersey City, NJ he was the son of the late George and Stella(Rozansky) Heflich. Mr. Heflich grew up in Secaucus, NJ and later moved to Belle Mead, NJ where he worked on his father's farm and was involved in excavating and had a trucking company. In 1982 he moved to Bethel, PA and established H&H Farms which produces hogs and steers and is a food industry recycler. As time went on, H&H Farms became Penn-Jersey Farms which is family owned and operated. The focus of their recycling efforts is the finishing and marketing of high quality livestock. Mr. Heflich's passion was his family, friends and his farm. He was a graduate of Somerville HS in Somerville, NJ and was a member of PA FArm Bureau. In addition to his Loving wife he was the Loving father to Judy wife of Anthony T. Stafford of Bernville; Jacqueline wife of George P. Stankiewitch of Bernville and Henry Heflich, Jr. of Summit Station. He was a Loving grandfather to Amy Lynn Stafford; Rachael Erin Stafford; April Amanda Stafford; Seth Henry Staniewitch. He is also survived by sisters Joan Borden of Morganton, NC; Emily Urban of Hillboro, NJ; Mary Rosania of Hillsboro, NJ and Nancy Bennett of Belle Mead, NJ. He was preceded in death by brothers Leonard and Max Heflich. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. |
