Henry Guevin

Henry D. Guevin, 70, of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 5:56 am in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Gloria M. Monde. Born in Reading he was the son of the late Napoleon and Helen (Konopelski) Guevin. Henry was employed for over 50 years by Boscov's Department Stores, working as a salesperson in the men's department at Boscov's Coventry Mall and as a boy's buyer for Boscov's East last working in July of 2015. He was avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and loved to play golf. In addition to his wife Gloria, Henry is survived by his children Todd M. Guevin, husband of Corinne L. Guevin of Germantown, Wisconsin; Shawn D. Guevin, husband of Cheri Guevin of Exeter Township and Charlene M. Wolfe, wife of Michael S. Wolfe of Exeter Township along with his grandchildren Vanessa; Nathan and Lauren. He is also survived by his sister Martha Cozzone of Reading.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 am. Kathy L. Lentz, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 9-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave. Reading, PA 19605 in memory of Mr. Henry D. Guevin.
