Helene Kalin

Helene T. Kalin, 88, formerly of Reading, passed away May 14, 2010 at 10:46 AM in Lehigh Center in Macungie where she resided since August of 2009. She was the wife of John Kalin who passed away May 6, 1989. Born in Downingtown on November 30, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Boaman) Yerger.

She was a graduate of Reading High School and Reading High School Nursing program.

Helene was a Licensed Practical Nurse employed as a private duty nurse for 15 years. She was a member of St. Paul's RCC in Reading and the Holy Family Society of the church.

Surviving is a son J. Michael Kalin husband of Betty Lou (George) Kalin of Kutztown, 2 grandchildren Michael Kalin husband of Deanne of Blandon and April Garrett wife of Brian of Fleetwood and 4 great grandchildren Angela Marie Kalin, Derik Kalin, Paige Garrett & Austin Garrett and a great great grandson Cameron Beam.
