Helen Yetter

Helen M. (nee Bockius) Yetter, 94, of Mountain Top, PA and formerly of Shillington, PA passed away on April 15, 2020 at Smith Health Center in Mountain Top. She was the beloved wife of the late C. Kenneth Yetter, and the loving mother of the late K. Scott Yetter and the late Bonnie L. Yetter. Born October 8, 1925 in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Catherine (nee Nuebling) Bockius and the late Thomas B. Bockius.

Helen was a 1946 graduate of Saint Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, and she had been employed for many years as a Registered Nurse at the Community General Hospital in Reading, PA before retiring to raise her family on a full-time basis. She was also a longtime member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shillington, PA for many years where she was very active in many of the church's groups and activities, and she will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Helen is survived by her three grandchildren and her six great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Funeral Service at Fairview Cemetery in Shillington will be held privately by her family.
