Helen Sadowskas

Helen Sadowskas, 83, of Womelsdorf, passed away June 28, 2009 at 3:35 pm in her residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Justin and Anna(Palavanas) Sadowskas. Ms. Sadowskas was employed as a graphic artist for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York for 27 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Bernville, served as treasurer of the Christian Action Council of Berks County and was a Hotliner for the Mercy Community Pregnancy Council. Ms. Sadowskas is survived by her brother Raymond G. Dowe of New Hyde Park, NY along with several nieces and nephews.
